Spring Can Hang You Up

These drawings are about survival. The reality is that we have survived a pandemic, we are witnessing another war, injustice abounds, and the climate is certainly not improving. Through it all, we continue to seek places for refuge, having learned how to create isolated protective spaces which have become a necessity for self-preservation. “Sky Islands” are places that I imagine we will always seek out for comfort and security.
